John O’Callaghan – Subculture

John O’Callaghan’s new compilation CD has been confirmed for release on 26th October on Armada, and will be featuring both Sly One vs Jurrane – Silicone Stars and Sly One – This Late Stage (Original Mix).
With Silicone Stars due for release before the end of the year, and This Late Stage currently riding high in every trance chart out there, this is fantastic timing. We can’t wait to hear what looks like being a fantastic 2CD compilation.

This Late Stage: No.8 and rising…
Just a mere week after release, This Late Stage (Ali & Fila Remix) has broken into the top 10 on the Beatport trance charts. With your help, it could keep rising!
Thanks for everyone’s support so far and all the kind and wonderful comments as always. Don’t forget that the Sly One vs Jurrane remix of John Askew’s Bad Apple hits the stores in November, for those that like it harder than a really hard thing.
This Late Stage/You now out on promo
This Late Stage and You have just been released on the Discover records promo pool.
The Aly & Fila remix of This Late Stage has seen unbelievably sustained support, for over 7 weeks so far, from Armin Van Buuren on A State Of Trance. Now it’s over to the reviewers!
I’d love to see some support for You – it’s a disarmingly steady builder that always knocks the socks off dancefloors when I play it in warmup sets. Inevitably, the support for This Late Stage will be greater, but I harbour a quiet hope that You finds some fans!
Release date confirmed for “This Late Stage”
This Late Stage has been confirmed by Discover for general release on the 28th September, with exclusive release on Beatport two weeks before – the 14th September.
The pack includes the Original Mix, Aly & Fila Mix (currently being hammered by Armin on A State Of Trance) and the “B-side” You.
Thanks to everyone for all the supportive messages and for whipping up the excitement about my first solo release for a very long time!
Sly One – This Late Stage [Discover 2009]
The A side to You‘s B-side, This Late Stage is everything uplifting trance should be – emotional, spacious, perfectly produced and full of sonic interest.
This tune enjoyed massive support across the board, including a week-after-week presence on Armin’s A State of Trance radio show, a lengthly presence in all the top 10s of the major download stores and inclusion on both John Askew and John O’Callaghan’s 2009 compilations, with both the original and Aly & Fila remixes receiving rave reviews.
