Euphorasm 3 - A Celebration
Monday, 26 September 2005
[ARTWORK][FLASHBUTTON]

My new demo, Euphorasm 3, is finished. Sorry to everyone who who's been nagging me for the next one since I put out Euphorasm 2 - it's taken a long time - well over a year - to find the right material!

This one represents a bit of a "back to basics" mission - and reflects the kind of trance that's been coming out recently. Straight, no nonsense, big sounds for big rooms - this is the kind of set you'll hear from me at 2 in the morning at Planet Angel.

Head to the downloads section to grab Euphorasm 3 as an MP3.

Trance on the Thames, 30th July 2005
Monday, 11 July 2005

Trance on the Thames can boast the most unique venue in London. Festival Beach, deep inside London's Zone 1, amongst the tourist attractions, is exposed as the waters draw back during the lowest tides of the year. This creates a perfect party venue, and the organisers turn up with a soundsystem and a faithful following of other 300 unselfconscious clubbers to dance the day away along with any randoms that join in when they see the action from the riverside!

I've been booked for the low tide on the 30th July. It's a donation-run party, so come and check it out!

A review of the party can be found here

First residency
Tuesday, 09 November 2004
[PIC]

It's finally been officially announced! Myself and Nick Page, alias Dr. Fluff, were asked this month to join as residents at my clubbing home and non-for-profit social enterprise, Planet Angel, and have both accepted.

I will be a member of the music team with a role reaching far beyond a monthly gig and into the technical side of running the parties, helping and encouraging new talent, and maintaining the Planet Angel ethos as it moves closer to its dream of a permanent home.

Planet Angel parties are promoted strictly by word-of-mouth only and do not advertise, even from the website, hence no event details, sorry!

Knowwhere 3rd Birthday @ The Fridge - 15th October

From Knowwhere's last mailout...

"This October, on Friday 15th, Knowwhere is proud to be celebrating its 3rd birthday!

"Because of this, we’ve decided to make the night one that particularly represents what Knowwhere is all about. In the main room, we’ll be presenting no less than EIGHT top DJs, all of whom have a special place in Knowwhere’s heart for one reason or another.

"Opening up on the night will be Robert Van Ryn, our resident in Aiya Napa this past season, at Knowwhere’s first residency outside the UK. He’ll be followed by Sly One, always one of our crowds favourite DJs for the early part of the evening..."

Gamma Storm got its full release last week on Magic Beans Records featuring the monster acid-fuelled remix by Tequila Sunrise.  It should be available in all good record shops in the UK and Europe over the next few weeks.

Gamma Storm at Godskitchen Video
Friday, 20 February 2004

Matt and Jeny from synthystringsnthings.co.uk have been kind enough to let me host this video, taken by Matt, from the stairs at Godskitchen just as Jon O'Bir tears the roof off with the then unreleased Gamma Storm.  It still gets the hairs on the back of the neck going.

Here are some frames from the video:
