Wow, things have been so busy lately, the website hasn't been updated for a bit. Sorry to all those who have been kept in the dark! It's all go at the moment with Sly One vs Jurrane - Timebomb (on Discover Dark) and Ground Control - Then & Now including the Sly One vs Jurrane remix (on Emalodic) having gone out on promo last week. Both labels have high hopes for the releases. It's extremely exciting and lucky to see both tunes out at the same time; we know they both rip the dancefloors apart but fingers crossed for the reactions from the big boys. Jurrane and I are now back in the studio and working on the follow-up to Timebomb - more news soon! |

Dave Pearce's new Ministry of Sound compilation album, Delerium , is now out, and features Ian Betts' awesome remix of my track House of Muzik. It's a fantastic tracklisting of geniune underground trance anthems and comes thoroughly recommended. You can buy it direct from Ministry of Sound here . |

I've been asked to provide a soundtrack to the post-performance party after new theatre company Likely Story's performance of "Salome" this weekend at the 491 Gallery in London. It should be a fantastic performance - 7pm, Saturday 14th April. The 491 Gallery can be found on Grove Green Road in Leytonstone, London. Other musical performances include bands Skarlet Sky and Underwire and fellow DJs Nibbler and DuffJ. |

Sly One vs Jurrane - Timebomb has started building momentum - the contracts were posted this week and it is now officially signed to Flux Delux, sister label of Discover and part of the Recoverworld group . This is a tremendously exciting vote of confidence from the label that for many has been making a genuine play of the last year or two for being the UK's top trance label. John Askew has playlisted the track on his weekly Vonyc.com radio set - see the playlist here Hopefully there will be more such scrapbook entries in the coming months! |

A track that has been some time in seeing release, my original House of Muzik is all set for release in the next few weeks on Six:Thirty records - promos go out shortly and the remix package is complete, with a pounding classic trancer from Ian Betts and a pared down, retro progressive journey from Jurrane. It was great getting into the studio with Jurrane to assist him with engineering his remix for release and I predict it to turn some heads with its chunky 130bpm groove and shimmering breakdown. As for Ian Betts' release, it is everything we expect from a man who is rapidly taking his label into the upper echelons and his DJ and production career with it. Fingers crossed! |

Harderfaster vs The Residents |

Sunday, 24 December 2006 |

I represented Planet Angel at yesterday's free Christmas party at Turnmills: HarderFaster vs. The Residents, hosted by HarderFaster. As expected it was great fun, and playing back to back with the irrepressible Alan Banks was a laid-back opportunity to play out several new tunes and bootlegs.
That's it for 2006 - see you all in 2007! |

Next year is getting going - I've just been confirmed for the closing set in the trance room at January's Tidy vs Extreme Euphoria event. This was a great party last year and the lineup for the trance room, hosted this year by Boundless, looks to be storming. Boundless have built an enviable reputation for creating amazing environments and stunning laser shows, and are going to be incredibly busy this year as the host host of choice for a series of high-profile trance events.
More details to follow when the flyers are published! |
