This latest mix represents a bit of a “back to basics” mission – and reflects the kind of trance that’s been coming out recently. Straight, no nonsense, big sounds for big rooms. I figure you’ve got to get these sort of ridiculous sets out of your system once in a while, and I trialled something like this set at Planet Angel. It was manic.
Here’s the tracklisting:
- Heller & Enkie – Yesterday’s Tomorrow [Sly One Intro Edit] {Big World Progressive}
- Tektonik – Shine [Sly One "Banging" Edit] {Platipus}
- Son of a Pitch – Nemo 03 {Afterglow}
- Scooter – Trance-Atlantic {Sheffield Tunes}
- Matti Kotala – Aedana {Abora}
- T4L – Moonwalk [Edit] {ITWT}
- Van Faber & D-Suza – Overload (Johan Kivi Remix) [Edit] {Inspired}
- A Force & A Drain – Time Bender {Compressor}
- Koglin & UTO – Time (BK Remix) {Noys}
- 4 Rising Stars – Feelin’ Me (Phynn Remix) {Power Station}
- Darren Tate – Fall from Grace {Mondo}
- A Force – Atomic Outbreak {Compressor}
- Alt-F4 – Alt-F4 {Anjunabeats}
- Kyau vs. Albert – Falling Anywhere [Edit] {Anjunabeats}
- Sly One – Euphorasm 3 Outro

Hey SlyOne.
I just wanted to say thank you for this mix. Thank you Thank you Thank you. I have this on a CD in my car, on my ipod, on my computer and is probably my most listened to track of all time. I have had it for either close to or over a year now and I still cannot get enough of it. Every time I listen to it it manages to well up tears in my eyes at one point or another, only to be replaced with the sense of euphoric completeness that it is titled for. And it could not be better titled, ‘A Celebration’; the music paints the scene perfectly.
Warmth, excitement, peace, bliss, it’s all there. It may not be your favorite mix but it certainly is mine. I hope the ‘ridiculousness’ of it doesn’t prevent you from also seeing its merit as a portal to pure euphoria.
Once again, Thanks,
~Ryan

Hi Ryan, I hope you don’t mind my editing your post slightly
Don’t worry, I love the mix! I guess I just didn’t try and be remotely clever with it, and feel like I need to justify myself! I’m really glad you love it so much and thankyou so much for taking the time to tell me!

Hey,
I sincerely love your mixes. I was all about trance back in 2002-2004, but dropped out of it kind of abruptly until around late 2006. I still had one mix from January 2004 by one DJ from Chicago, and found its tracklist some time later, which contained the massive Octagen & Arizona – Starburst. And searching for sets containing that song yet again, I stumbled upon your mixes. And wow, I was blown away by the second Euphorasm mix. Thanks for reviving songs that both many have heard and still others have not. These are in my opinion the ideal for a night of musical adventure and I’ve since tried to devise mixes (purely recreational) similar to yours with that kind of depth and energy. You’re an inspiration.
And this set here, it’s just as brilliant. Alt+F4 is a classic song to have. Atomic Outbreak, man, now that one is an intense song. Lots of other gems, too. Basically, like you said, all big room sounds to wake you up to life’s opportunities.
I hope all will be great for you, on and off the decks.
Best wishes,
Kevin (Maryland, USA)
